I have been coached by Paddy for nearly 2 years now and we have made big steps forward in all aspects of my cycling. Not only are my power numbers on the up with Paddy’s guidance I have been able to control my weight better than ever before and my on/off bike nutrition has never been better! I can’t wait to start racing as the new me!

Paddy’s communication has been great and he’s always feeding back on sessions so we can improve in the next block.

I’ve been working with Paddy for the past 6 months and after a very consistent winter I have now lifted my power curve from 6 seconds right up to 3 hours, before road racing even starts again.

Paddy is supportive but also allows me as a rider to have sufficient input into my training goals and planning. In the first 5 races, 4 wins and a 2nd places so far has given me the confidence I need in my training and testing results to really push myself coming into the start of the elite road racing season.

Paddy is an amazing coach who takes pride in his work. He is always approachable and his wealth of knowledge is incredibly valuable. Paddy has done a great job of identifying my weaknesses and helping me to improve them, not just in terms of power output but other vital aspects like nutrition and race-craft

Paddy always makes sure to put the needs of his riders first, taking in the feedback from each ride to plan going forwards. I've made massive progress in my small time with Paddy so far and I look forward to continuing to work with him for a long time to come.

I have managed to knock nearly 2 minutes off my 10k time, as well as secure a new PB in the 5k (15:35). My training programme is fully tailored towards my goals and with my time constraints in mind, understanding that life can get in the way.

Paddy's patience and expert knowledge has taken and will continue to take my running to a new level.

I have been working with Paddy for almost 3 years now and I have improved so much and learnt so much in that time.

When I started with Paddy I had been chasing a 40-minute 10k and 19-minute 5k for the past 3 years without improving, now my PBs stand at 35:34 (10k), 1:18 (half) and 2:47 (marathon - putting me 9th on the all-time list for an U23 UK athlete) and these are all times I feel confident I can knock down significantly with more training.

I always start the training block with a target pace in mind which feels tough but achievable, and Paddy structures my training to build up to racing at this pace. He tailors my training plans from the outset to accommodate holidays, target race dates, etc., and week-by-week will adjust my training if work is busy, if I’m feeling tired/stressed, or even just if I don’t seem to be making the adaptations to the sessions.

I also really appreciate that Paddy is always able to explain to me the reason/science behind each training session, it has definitely helped me to develop as an athlete to understand more about the role that (for example) lactate plays and the importance of recovery for allowing your body to adapt.
